New!!! Trenchless Pipe Replacement
Professional Gutter & Drain has brought a great new technology to the company. We now offer trenchless technology, which is a type of subsurface construction work that requires very few trenches or no continual trenches. This is a increasingly growing section of the construction and the civil engineering industry. Trenchless Pipe Replacement is commonly defined with a direct relation of methods, materials, and equipment that is capable of durable usability for the installation crews. Trenchless technology allows the replacement, and/or rehabilitation of an existing underground drain line with minimal displacement to landscape.
How does it work?
We are glad you asked! When replacing pipes with the static bursting technique, a bursting head is pulled from a start pit (shaft) through the old pipe into a target pit (shaft). When pulling back the cable, the old pipe is destroyed by the blade, the pipe fragments are displaced into the surrounding soil and the new pipe – of equal or larger diameter – is pulled in simultaneously.
Benefits Of Using Static Pipe Bursting
The greatest benefit of using static pipe bursting is in the comfort of knowing that your landscape will not be greatly disturbed. We at Professional Gutter & Drain know the amount of effort, and energy it takes to maintaining a beautiful lawn, flower bed, or hardscape. No longer do homeowners need to have the yard surrounding their home dug up and destroyed to have their drain and/or sewer lines replaced. Other great benefits of Trenchless Pipe Replacement include:Less time. Since no trench needs to be dug, the process is much faster than traditional pipe replacement.
Larger pipes. Using the bursting method is the only trenchless option where the new pipe can be larger than the old pipe.
Quality new pipe. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe is a durable, seamless material that is leak proof and rust resistant.
Microtunneling/Boring
Now offering microtunneling and boring methods to the Columbus Ohio area. This is a perfect solution for tunneling under sidewalks, paver patios, concrete patios, and driveways. Microtunneling, or commonly referred to as boring, is a trenchless method used to install underground piping and conduits. By digging an entrance and an exit pit. We are then able to use our machine to tunnel and install new lines below existing structures.
The greatest benefit about microtunneling and boring is it saves time and money. For more details call and ask for Kevin at 614-989-3326.
